mini t fix help

Hello just bought my mini t and just curious how to get the rod ends off the ball studs. Also can you reuse them after you remove them? I'm planning to race it indoor carpet and curious how many tooth pinion would you guys use? Thank you

you can just pop them off with a pair of pliers or something. They can be re-used but once they get loose enough where they pop off easily you will want to replace them. Im sure someone can give you a general pinion idea, but it should really be tuned to the track that you are running on. hope this helps

Somebody told me once to preheat(warm-don't melt!) ball endcaps first before "popping"them off or on. I warm mine up first all the time now. I must say they don't seem to get all "sloppy' like b4 when I was just popping them off-n-on with a screwdriver or needlenose. Pinion size can be anyones guess, ask the guy with the fastest set-up like yours what he's running? I was using 14tooth on my mini-t w/ rubber tires(stock dia.)and stock motor.
