I'm bored and going through this mr-02 car lot and noticed the LM car will spin its tires for a couple seconds immediately when turned on.
Seems weird, any specific cause for this?

Well they finally got back to me yesterday and said it was on backorder. I canceled the order with them and ordered a 12000 kv from Amain. I’m changing the motor out to a 3500kv anyway, and I’ll be running this Narrow so it comes with everything to swap it over. Just not sure of what body to get. I was thinking of the Porshe GT3. I wanted to run a shorter wheelbase setup.

Unfortunately I'm kinda useless at recommend anything less than 98mm since the Audi r8 is so far the only body I've been really competitive with on a bigger track. On a small track like the mini96 track however I did have a lot of fun running the Toyota AE86 body, the modern one not the pre-21st century model lol.

Though I'm sure others will chime in with quicker options. The GT3 you're looking at looks nice. Just never driven one myself.

The Porsche 911 GT1 is a 90mm wheelbase with +1/+2 wheel offsets. I find it to be the best sub-98mm body configuration.

the gt1 is a great performer. Best sub 98mm, is a bit of a long shot, but it's definitely one the two top 90mm performers. It rotates well into the corners and through the middle, while able to put down power exceptionally well. It definitely over performs with its wheelbase limitations. At 90mm, it really has the f40 for competition in the class, followed by the 991 gt3. All three have slightly different strengths and weaknesses. The gt1 is easiest of the three to make competitive, and can work exceptionally well on many different surfaces and traction levels.

z-round has a track design feature for rcp.
https://www.zround.com/wiki/doku.php...track_designer

you can use it to design a layout, depending what size track tiles you use, you can just multiply the tile by the size. Its It's a neat program, which you can input how many of each tile you have so you know what you are working with

Default Motor Mount

Have been getting the itch to change out some things on my "box stock" class car and run it with the 50T class. The R246-1351 motor mount caught my eye. I see that I would need some additional things which is fine as I would like to upgrade to a damper and ball diff anyway. Just want to make sure in doing so I don't limit the bodies and motors I can run. Right now I run the 12C and will be adding the R8 and currently run the xspeed but will be trying others too. Also, would you recommend the Pn or Kyosho Diffs? Thanks!

Keep in mind that the R246-1351 requires an LM axle. Personally, I prefer the PN diff. The Kyosho isn't bad by any means though.

You can mount the PN diff on the Kyosho Axle by just sanding the actual "disc" thinner.

If you are running a Mini96 track the sections are pretty darn close to 12" square.

If you look down at the Mini96 World Challenge page you will see some layouts and you can also set up anything that the HFAY does on two "Wide L's".

Cheers,
Jim
