I'm having problems setting up my mamba with my spektrum. It won't recoginze were nuetral is at. If I take the plug out of the rx and put it in a different channel it sets nuetral but then the whole thing is thrown off. I don't get it.
Hey Chad
I have had problems with mamba ESC not recognizing neutral before too. Try resetting ALL of the trims on the radio back to zero (neutral) and see if it will set. I can't remember which one I had the problem with, but it was one of the trims. Another guy at the track last year had the same problem...we moved the throttle/break trims around on his R-1/spektrum and got it to set. Just play with them...you'll get it.

I ended up getting it set by setting my sub trim forward to around 95. It works now. The only thing I've noticed is that if I mash on the throttle sometimes is doesn't move and stutters. Then gets hot. Otherwise it seems fine.

What pinion should I run with the comp x. I put a 10t, because that is all I had besides the stock gearing.

Not sure on the gearing...which version of software are you running in the mamba esc. If you haven't updated it, you should get a cable and update it to the latest version and set your start up power higher. It should help on take off.

I don't have the PC link yet. But I did set the esc up for the higher start up power.

Ah, I think I can be of assistance here. As of now, the absolute best motor/ESC combo for the KMI is the Wraith 7k/Quark 33A.

You really need to get/borrow one if you can. Updating the software will really help with the cogging issue you are having.

I have a ST and I'm building it up to race. Anyone got the 1/10 touring car adapters?

I use the 3racing adapters. They work well for touring car wheels. I don't have pics of them right now but will take some pics today at the track. For now, check out this thread with videos/pics.
