My new Half 8 ST sounds horrible. Please help... Its brand new I ran it today for the first time and the gears or diff seem so loud, is this normal for these?

Sadly, yes that is normal, they are really loud... Just in case though, check the gear mesh...

Thanks guys, I was just told at my local track... good luck ever finding parts is that true. I'm the only guy with a half 8 truggy, at that. Thats what I like about it.

I sold mine awhile ago because of that problem. However id check out www.halfeight.com That forum has tons of information on that buggy/truggy that may be of some assistance to you.
