Racing is fun, but those little cars a REALLY hard to drive. I sold mine to my buddy in Slovenia.

That sounds exciting, was so popular and would do well again I think. To me the only major element missing from it was a slipper clutch.

Default Vendetta Truggy + Buggy

Hey all, I just pulled out my 2 RC cars I bought new 10yrs ago lol. These cars have 5mins run time on them.

The truggy broke the upper control arm on the left side. Since they still work,, I wanted to repair the arm,, make a cardboard track in the garage and have some fun..

What can I use to repair these guys,, I'm not finding parts and JB weld failed to hold..

Also, the truggy steering servo is binding, think it moved. Are they secured with only double sided tape?

Thanks

Also,, One has Futaba 5000 esc and 380 motor, the other has ESC 7500 with VR3 motor. Can I use 7.4v 2S lipo on these ESC'S.

JB repaired upper control arm Vendetta ST

Vendetta ST steering servo

Brought my battery packs back to life.. Just need to fix truggy steering servo which seems stripped unless it just moved out of place.. Opinions on cheap but serviceable replacement?

I fixed the upper A arm using aluminum round from home depot.

Now I need a replacement steering servo.

Any drop in servos? I don't have a way to trim EPA. Is it 60* or 90*?

If anyone is interested, maybe I will just sell the two cars. Too hard to find parts.

Standard servo may be too big. Heavy, also.
I used a Hi-Tec #225 MG servo. It is a drop-in. Plenty fast.

The factory remote had a D/R servo trim so that fixed my sevo throw issue.

Picked up a hobby wing ESC, 2S 2000 Venom lipo and cheap charger. Will the stock ESC run on the 2S Lipo?

Hobby store guy seemed to think so with an alarm wired in.

Thank you, I did manage to find this UK ebay seller with a few upper A arms but I made a replacement part from aluminum rod. Works perfectly.

Installed a Quickrun 60amp 2-3s lipo ESC with 2S 2000mah lipo

So, I have the buggy working well. Stock tire compound can't handle the extra punch from the new esc. They are bald.

Any suggestions for more durable tire options that fit the 12mm hex that can attach using the small Phillips head screws?

Suggestions for bashing tires??

The stock esc didn't work with a 2S lipo. The truggy has the VR3 motor which I think is faster than the 380 in the buggy.

would this esc motor combo drop in? It has a 2mm motor shaft.
