Hey all, what are some good off-road bashing tires for an RC18T? My stock mini-pins only lasted two weeks and I only use it on grass and dirt. I have some Pro-Line Road Rage's for street, so I thought the stock tires would last longer...but no. Thanks in advance...

The stock tires for the 18MT wear like iron... Mine were run pretty much exclusively with the Mamba 6800, and other than being dirty, they still look pretty new...

They're not the best gripping tires in the world, but not the worst... At least, on dirt/grass/cement/pavement.

You might want to try some ProLine DirtHawgs for offroad bashing. Bowties give way better traction and wear longer than the stock pins.

Ok I am running my RC18B off road on an outdoor track for 1/10th. I was reading about bigger wheels and tires, Just so I get this right you use Kyosho Half 8 wheels and tires with 12mm hex adapters. Does this sound right. I just want to get the right stuff to do it.

Default How to Slow Down an RC18MT?

This may seem like a silly question, since most people want to make their cars faster, But...

I really need to slow down my RC18MT a lot so that my kids can use it. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I wonder if a 180 motor could be installed and if this would do the trick. Any thoughts or motor suggestions?

Other things I've tried that didn't work good enough:
-reduce the number of cells in the battery packs (lower voltage).
-adjust the throttle ATV on the transmitter
-tape up the trigger (works OK for forward, but not in reverse).

Thanks!

Adjust your throttle end points, if you can, otherwise get a 4 cell pack.

I actually tried a 4 cell pack and a 2 cell pack. There really isn't that much difference.

I just picked up a second hand rc18t last week .I installed my mamba 25 into it .the truck dog tracked and had no balls ??? (no go go).so i totally stripped it down and put two fresh diffs in .same thing happens lol.if you hold the truck in hand it seems fine but as soon as you put it on the floor it acts up .battery is full and I'm pretty sure the mamba is set properly.
any help would be great .PM me if you can help out..
thanks in advance

The only bodies that fit the 18r is the replacment associated bodies, the Exotek GTZ body, and Rj Speed makes a couple muscle car bodies and a Stock car body. Also on The Toyz there is a Bentley and an old Corolla.
