What is a FT kit?
#815

Ok so far I want these:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/2949
Does the factory team kit come with a transmitter? The site only says it only need a reciever
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/9503
Will this servo work with the 18t?
Can you recommend a good radio system, and battery? Also, can I charge the batts for my 1/18 on my charger that charges batts for my 1/10?
Also, what kv Sidewinder should I get for overall good performance? I will be driving in all kinds of terrains.

You would need a TX as well as an RX as the FT kit has no electronics. But since you already have a TX for your 1/10, you could maybe try to get a 2nd receiver so both your cars can share 1 transmitter.
Some people sell used systems with a spare receiver thrown in. I think some new radio sets are also packaged with a spare receiver thrown in (Spektrum DX3S, if I'm not mistaken). If you're still using an AM radio for your 1/10, this might be a good option as you can upgrade both radios to digital spread spectrum in one go. It's not easy selling an AM radio without bundling it with a car though, but it does look like you're selling a Desert Truck in your signature.
That Hitec HS55 servo would work for a start but most people end up running something beefier like the Hitec HS65MG. In any case, you would need a different servo saver horn for these Hitec micro servos.
Your 1/10 peak detection charger should work for the 1/18 batteries if they're both NiMH type batteries. (Wait, it's not a timer charger, I hope. That would not work.)

In my opinion the HS65MG is the best servo for an 18T. I've raced and beat mine to hell for 6 months now and it is still unstoppable. I purchased an aluminum steering assembly and did a little modification and now the steering is flawless, no excessive play or anything.
I like the 6800 for racing and bashing. I think it's fast enough on any track you'd be running 1/18th and it'll also provide enough speed and torque for general bashing (unless you're doing top speed runs!).

Can anyone suggest a good batt?

While on the subject of adding parts, not necessary but I really like them...
http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...8122&cat_name=
Tightens up servo-saver action, I don't know if I'd use it for off-road but I like them for on carpet. Although the .4 might give enough for off-road use.

You need this http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/23936

The kit manual will have step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
