Default Reflex Racing Rx28

Hadn't seen a thread for this new kit, so I thought I'd start one.
If you don't have your kit yet, here is a link to the instructions so that you can see what makes this kit different:

I have mine on the way. Hopefully it comes soon

I think that there are a lot of things going for the car. What I like is that it comes with many things which are options on other cars as standard equipment.

I just got mine yesterday, haven't really looked at it yet. Any one know where or when the option parts listed in the manual will be available? I'd rather buy the screws etc etc and build rather than re-build it again LOL

Spares and options should be up in a week or so. Cristian is on vacation. I enjoyed the build. I chamfered all the ball cups arms and had no assembly issues. I did have to draw the servo horn on as the servo I ordered was an A06CLS V2. The output shaft has a larger diameter than the original. I wasn't paying attention when I ordered.

RX28 new build.

Looks like I'm in the same boat. It seems that I bought the A06GLS V2. What is the correct servo horn for it?

Scott

There is only one servo horn at the moment. I used a longer screw and washers to draw it onto the output shaft.

Default Servo saver?

For those who have built their chassis, is there a servo saver? I tend to hit the walls pretty regularly.

There is no servo saver. But, I run wide bumpers or hard bodies and have not damaged a servo in my RTA or MRZ.

Just a note guys...

This front end is wide, like really wide. You might consider front 0 or even Front -1 offsets.

It's a good thing, as it makes for stronger wheels and less run-out damage.

The car is showing well and setting track records for the new layout. The club member who owns it has adjusted the damping to his liking. The car is immediately carrying more corner speed and accelerating better out of the corner than the previous setup. Most everyone is running 7.5s on the new layout with a few 7.4s for the hero lap. Well this chassis ran a 7.2. Impressive.

Thats cool you guys are seeing faster lap times with, im assuming, a box stock car. Tired of having to buy kits n then spend double to make them competitive LOL

I believe he has different front axles, the ones that use screws instead of lock nuts. He had a wheel fall off in Q1, so he had to find shims to match the axle diameter. Mine has standard front axles.
