Default PN Anima 20A ESC\Anima 3500 KV

I just finished a build with a PN 2.5 chassis and was wondering if anyone had any setups that they would share like gearing and esc settings to get the most out of this combo?

Right now I set it up with the Kyosho 43T ball diff and 9T pinion. It runs pretty good but doesn't have nearly the straight away speed that my 50T brushed setup has.

I was thinking about going to a 64P setup and go with a taller gear ratio. I'm just not sure how tall to go.

your not going to get the straight away speed out of a 3500 your getting out of a 50t brushed... 3500 is equal to a 70t brushed stock motor..

So, I'm pretty much a Mini z noob, but experienced RC racer. A buddy built me a PN 2.5 car, with 3500kv, and it's geared at 14/53 - 64P for a fairly big track. It seems to be pretty competitive.

Check "Inside Line Mini Z" on U Tube to get an idea of track size.

Thanks for the info.

That's good to know. I've seen videos of them running on big tracks and they look plenty fast to me.

I will probably order a 64P diff and get a few different pinion to try out then.

I run a 16/51 on my PN2.5 with a PN V5 motor mount. Its the tallest pinion and smallest 64p spur i could find.
