Looks interesting, but I'll be waiting for the brushless version. The 2-in-1 receiver/ESC makes it a pain to upgrade to brushless.

I know they're calling it a 1/16 scale instead of 1/18 like the truck but I think parts will be interchangeable. Anyone know for sure?

They stretched the wheelbase to make it a buggy. I’d assume otherwise it’s the same. But until a parts list is available.

There was a video posted that the upgrades for the 1/18 would fit any upcoming vehicle in the mini family

I also noticed the wheelbase is 190.5mm, which is actually longer than the Mini-8ight (186mm) and Reflex 14B (188.5mm), so I'd consider this more of a 1/14.

In any case, looks pretty good. Brushless would be nice, but I'd probably swap out all the electronics anyway.

super interested in these.. got to have a couple.. The mini-t 1.0 were great back in the day considering the gear we had to put in them at the time was sketchy at best..these may get me to put a track in my back yard again..

I ran a Hobbywing 12T brushless in my Mini-B last night and the buggy is freaking dialled

In terms of feedback, I will be crossing my fingers that an MIP ball diff arrives in my lap at some point. The non-sealed open geared diff in the Mini-B doesnt lend itself to tuning and so I did struggle with the car diffing out around fast sweeping corners on power.

If any of you have raced 1:10th 2WD, in anger, across surfaces (carpet, dirt, astro), and understand the finesse required to drive 2WD well, and the feeling of reward you get from racing 2WD, you will LOVE the Mini-B because the car handles and rotates so well - it is 2WD in mechanical design and finesse requiring spirit!

Just a very short video to show the buggy on track at my local club. The car is running a 12t Hobbywing brushless system, 800mAh LiPo, and is completely stock in every other regard (shocks, setup etc). I hit a car on the main straight that had flipped over, and popped a turnbuckle off, hence having to pull off on the 2nd lap. Again, this video is short, and just there to give an idea of the handling of the car.

I had no drag brakes on the ESC either, hence why I kept overshooting turn 1

I haven't been able to work that out yet, and the UK goes back into lockdown on Thursday...so I won't be able to run at a track now until at least 2nd December

I will be doing a Facebook live video on the Mini B on Thursday, November 5th on the RC Driver Facebook page - at around 5:00 eastern time.
