That 3d printed body is awesome. How did you get rid of the layer lines? Acetone?

Currently there's no info except they do offer variety of radio from their own lines like these: Shenzhen NewStone Technology Co.,Ltd

Took hours of sand papering to remove those lines and few coats of acrylic paint to cover the grooves.

I got the file from this website which you can download STL for free: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4414409
You'll need to resize manually to match the wheel base.

Great thread xl-racing !
Late-night internet surfing and just bought the 1/76 Mini on Bangood ($60 USD with shipping).

Planning to be part of Mini 96 but thought this could be faster while I build the 1/28.

It is late here, but next, I will look for a small track and the timer. Any suggestions for modifications to the chassis, motors, and wheels ? Thank. you !

Cheers

P.S. Great Twitter feed, and blog!

Good to hear you got one, hope you enjoy it.
There's not much modification you can do to the chassis, motor or wheel because its extremely too small to mods and parts are not as modular as what you can find on Mini-z or dnano. The only thing you can do is custom build a bodyshell via 3d print or finds a smaller aftermarket 1:76 scale body or anything close to its wheelbase size to fit into its chassis or wheels/tires.
