Has anyone tried to install a mini 8ight spur gear in it? Reason I'm asking is I'd like to be able to try one out and run Hot Racing's 0.5mod pinions.

I have the 48p mini 8ight spurs in my mini b. it works just fine. you'll also need the mini 8ight slipper pads to go with.

Hey all, I recently grabbed a few of the brushed versions that were on sale. I am having a strange issue, which is that the battery is running down to 2-2.5 volts before the car stops moving! Obviously this is going to ruin my batteries very soon if nothing changes. For now, I've just started using a timer and I'm using one of my normal RC chargers to check voltage and keep the cells above 3.0v per cell.

I have double-checked and the jumper plug is set in the position indicated on the ESC itself (there are little dots for Lipo vs NIMH which show you where to put the jumper). One thing I have NOT checked is whether the marking on the ESC is wrong. That seems very unlikely though.

Anyone else having any issues with their lipo batteries running way down? Anyone know about the Lipo setting on this combined receiver/ESC?

Thanks!

Sounds like the pack has 1 bad cell. It happens from time to time..

Hey anyone found any good tire/wheel combos for the mini-t or mini-b?

The stock options from Horizon/Proline are pretty limited (and rather overpriced).

I've tried touring car tires and a few other options in 65-80mm outer diameter range and they're ok, but not great. The chassis really requires pretty small tires.

Thanks!

Think I remember some using the LC racing rally tires.

Since Horizon owns both. I’m sure there’s a reason they picked this size tire

Hi All,

New around here...just picked up a brushed mini-t 2.0 and I am loving the 1/18 scale.

I have a couple questions, can the stock factory usb charger be used for charging the aftermarket Dynamite 7.4V 800mAh 2S 50C battery? Can this battery be used with the brushed T 2.0 w/o issue?

Hi all,

Anyone know (or can anyone guess) the max voltage for the motor in the brushed edition? Note - I'm using my own ESC (good up to 4s) and I already run on 3s with no trouble. Brushed motor seems to be taking it just fine, and in fact doesn't even get hot (at all) on 3s. I am quite surprised. Will 4s work as well?

Thanks!

So the battery has gone bad in one of my brushed mini-ts... Support is sending a new one but they aren't expecting them until June and it looks like they are all backordered everywhere else as well...

Any other batteries that can work with these? Maybe with a little modification to the rails?

I'm about ready to upgrade my steering servo and it looks like the Reefs 99 might be the best or one of the best. Does anyone know of a compatible steering horn for the 25 tooth output shaft? The Reefs ones I have found are multiple length that I will need to cut and grind. I found a 25 tooth Futaba that will work if it fits the output shaft correctly. Are Reefs and Futaba interchangeable? All input greatly appreciated

Thanks, very much appreciated. However that Ebay link will not work for some reason. Could you tell me a make and model or provide a different link. Thanks again

ive tried 3 different devices and browsers, it works fine. Also had a buddy try, works for him. Try searching for this: “Losi Mini-T & Mini-B 2.0 Upgrade REEFS 99 Servo Mounts + Horn [*No Servo*]”
