Notes-Car is very stable and easy to drive, but with the brushless motor I have difficulty recovering from a mistake and it costs me a lot of time. I changed the board from the VE Pro to the EVO board this month, and the response time seems better, but it may have been the ICS settings I used on the new board. Car is finally faster than my PN 70T car below, but only by 4/10 of a second in total time. Still prefer the feel of a brushed motor, but think I'm getting better with brushless...

^^^That is a lot of horsepower for a Mini96. I’d recommend getting a RWD ReadySet and running it in box stock.

I have definitely considered it!

I have my throttle epa turned down to 23-28% depending on how awake I am when driving and other factors...

When I get sick of breaking front CVD’s I will probably go for the ready set.

I was able to get laps in on the April layout, just not with a timer. Excited to get involved this month!

the biggest problem here is the same problem I had 8 weeks ago when I got into 1/28th. There is nothing in stock anywhere that I know of. It’s why I went Atomic/AWD to begin with.. it was all I could find. It’s why I have a 7000kv motor... it’s all that was in stock...

If so many people are buying these things, why is nobody here racing them?

I was able to find a 20th anniversary mr-03 evo. I would be out about $400 to get it up and running, and would be in pro stock. I’m not sure that is any better situation than I’m in...

Which motor are you looking for?

At the time I wanted a 5xxx kv motor as I was building this car for larger tracks. They were all sold out - but are in stock now. I don’t mind the 7000 kv motor as I can just turn the rate back on the Tx. I also have a 3200 kv in an AMZ that I will play with this month.


can I put the module in the ready set and use my TX for box stock (NB4) or do I have to use the stock TX?
