Default SC28 steering

Anyone have trouble with the steering not working? Everything else works as design, the servo centers itself when turned on, tore apart the radio and car and don’t see anything broke or missing. This is happening on both of the ones I own. Any help is appreciated

New here, but I recently picked one of these up to race inside during the rain. Only got 1 to see how it was and then buy more if all was well. I still haven't purchased but I do like the SC28.

I also have a steering issue. It will turn one direction perfectly fine but now will not turn the opposing direction. It turns but it is very limited. Tore it completely apart (assumed there was some hair, dust, debris, etc trapped in there. There was a bit of hair (thanks to my dog) wrapped around the wheel/axle but this wasn't impeding the steering in any way. From what I can tell everything seems to be fine. The only possible question I have is when looking at the range of motion on the little servo in there, it appears to be oriented in a way that limits its turning capacity to one side (it's laid on its long side making it flatter). I know there is someone on another thread working on some mods for this model but I don't think anyone has changed out the servo?

With a better servo and suspension mods this little thing would be perfect!

I can't find the link to the forum it's on (can't post links anyhow...new account)

Lookup Brian Conklin on YouTube. He's the one working on the suspension mods for the 28. Sounds like he is going to sell these parts on Shapeways when they are finished. He's working on the front 1st and made a new frame/pan for it also.
