RMR is located in Batavia OH and we run oval and on road on a 83x40 in door carpet track. Right now the track is closed till I resume racing in Sept. Most classes use roar rules as guideline but it's not like I crack the whip on tech. I want to keep the track a club atmosphere and that just show up and have fun is all I ask. We mainly run 1/12 17.5 and 17.5 tc. We do get VTA and USGT classes going as well.

What do you want the truck to do and or what will you want to use it for
When i get the ford i will build it box stock for now because what i want to use it for, the stock options with the kit will be suffice.

Hope this helps in your decision and keep this in mind...never settle in other. words if you really want the toyota then save up and buy it.if you settle and just get whatever you won't be happy and eventually you will want the toyota but you would have wasted time money and effort on the other truck

The clod is very versatile but not built for speed.the high lifts by tamiya are nice and look like a realistic truck you would see on the road and most of the kits on the market now have upgrades you can do at anytime with anyones budget.the question is what look do you want to go for and what do you want the yruck to do for you....pulling.....off road trails.....dirt track.i tend to go with something thst looks realistic in real life and thats how i decide what to get.i really like the tamiya ford f350 pickup and when the budget allows i will purchase it because i want a car trailer to haul my shelby cobra around and do some four wheeling trails with it.i will also add lights and mfu to it judt to make it more realistic.thats what i do with my rigs

the 1/18 scale batmobile that i have was released by hotwheels in california last year which is plastic and already r/c as a kids toy.the r/c in it was for indoors play only and the range was 15ft so i got my friend at my hobby shop i deal with basically rip the guts out of it and make it a proper r/c using a micro motor and 2.4 ghz radio .i cost me an arm and a leg because everything was custom made to fit this car .now i can run it outside and its super fast and the range is around 200ft but i would never run it that far away.having said that you can convert your 1/18 diecast batmobile into a r/c version but for that you would need an expert for .i customize trucks only because i know alot about them .there are other boards that other guys are on that have done this but the best place would be check youtube for that info about converting diecast to r/c ,the same rules would apply for any diecast ,the difference would be to make parts to fit that particular vehicle.hope this helps

Hello there my name is dwayne by the way.yes they have a 3 speed transmission similar to the tamiya bruiser.they are very fast considering the weight and size of them.they will do 30 km/h not sure what that is in miles but somewhere around 15-20 mph.the longest one i have is the blue cabover k-100,hooked to my double trailers with the dolly is between 5 and 6 ft long.the heaviest trailer i have is my triaxle cattle trailer which weighs almost 40 lbs and my tractors weigh between 9 and 12 lbs

yes poseidon is an international however tamiya doesn't have the rights to call it an international nor can the grille look exactly like an international.it can resemble abit but not be visibly a copy.i do have the proper aluminum grille for it and i am currently installing it so watch for updates of poseidon with his new grille .thanks for the compliments and thanks for looking..much appreciated
