    Yes, that is correct... TLR334065 = brass C block for the new TLR Adjustable Pivot Set TLR334053 = brass C block for the standard 5.0 pivots.

    I don't know if any oil got in, but you should definitely remove the excess from the pre-oiled filters with a paper towel or similar. Maybe the excess oil is restricting air flow to the carb?

    I believe they are indeed separate pieces. The set or "grub" screw I think has a 1.5mm hex. Put a 1.5mm hex in there and then loosen the locknut with pliers or a wrench to separate them. As mentioned...
