If you guys haven't heard, thanks to member shoei, I was given warning that Tamiya discontinued the Rover Mini bodies. The very bodies I run on all my m-chassis.

So I bought a bunch this week from multiple sources to make stock. If you like these bodies, you should get them too while they last.

Big bore TRF dampers installed on my M05. Very smooth riding, changed damp settings from the previous CVA Super Mini's.

More pictures in my Tamiya M-chassis album.

Big bore TRF dampers installed on my M03.

Bigger picture in the Tamiya M-chassis album. I had the CVA Super Mini's with TRF x-rings in the damper housing on the car before so it wasn't a huge difference, but these are noticeably smoother riding. I am using the black pistons, 2holes and 3 holes running clear Tamiya damper oil.

So it's been over 2 months since I drove my RC cars. I can't believe how fast time is going by this summer. Anyway, I did drive my SabreFD Mini today and had a fun time. I should be getting the big bore dampers and misc stuff this week. Kind of excited. Not sure how soon I will get around to install them but anyway, good to know I will have a handful in stock.

Thanks for checking in. Yeah, I've not been very active with my RC right now as my real car hobby is at full swing, but I am thinking about getting new Tamiya big bore dampers for my M03 and M05 in the coming month mainly just for cool factor. Otherwise, just maintenance items like new bodies and wheels.

Thanks to member RotorTruck, I was able to get a hold of a couple of BSR M-Rage spares (diff axle cups which wear out very quickly even with a silver can) and their body post set for the front. While my setup for the BSR is pretty sound right now, it's always good to have back up spares as I intend to keep my m-chassis for a very long time. I mean like decades.

Finally got around to installing the rear stabilizer bar on my M01 today. I used the hopup's silver thick bar on the rear as there was too much play with the bracket using the smaller black bar. I already had a front stabilizer I made out of another m-chassis stabilizer set anyway.

I could not get rid of the torque steer like off-balance acceleration completely (car tracks right when I punch it due to no rear left/right ride height adjustability), but going through the switch back is real nice now even with the heavy M01 Mini body.

Bigger picture in my album Tamiya M-chassis.

I'm still checking in here, but have not driven my RC cars since the last week of January.

Season is starting up for my real car hobby in a few weeks, and I've been really busy buying a new car and de-modding, selling one of my old, etc. doing the basic stuff like wheel/tire swap, window tint, clearbra, etc. on the new just getting the basics finally finished. Once snow clears up I will be pulling out my other RWD cars so probably will not be doing any RC until late Spring at the earliest, or maybe some time this summer.

Regardless, have fun with your RC's out there!
