Wow, it's already April. I have not played with my RC in a while, not that I got sick of RC.

Going to check the Lipo storage voltages later today. They need to be around 3.80-3.83v... I think the last time I checked was around New Years..

    Happy New Year everyone!

No big RC plans for me this year, but will be enjoying the cars I already have. I might redo my basement track's walls a little bit. Unfortunately(?) with my real car hobby expanding, I was not able to reserve additional space in the basement to increase the size of the track. Maybe next year..

Finally got around building the low rider Pajero CC01 kit. It actually drives real nice with its low profile tires. I did not put any LSD action shims inside the diffs as this car is more for show. I will be working on the body maybe tomorrow.. not sure. The only hopup is ball bearings and Kimbrough servo saver. I don't plan on running any brushless motors or anything. Just the silver can and will run Lipo's for the extra punch. I want to preserve the gears for longitivtiy.

Updated GF01 & WR02 albums page. I will post up my other CC01 and CR01 and CW01 chassis later.

Okay.. thought I would start the low rider but I've yet to open the box.
Hopefully this weekend I will find some time to start the kit.

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!

So it's been 2 months and I haven't touched my RC since early October. Been real busy with work and since it's been a mild winter I was still working on my real cars. Now that temps have finally dropped below freezing, I wrapped up most of my real car gear and now thinking about starting my CC01 low rider Pajero build. I checked on my Lipo storage voltages over the weekend and they were still around 3.80-3.84v.

Worked on my RC car for the first time since maybe March. The NeoScorcher is back up and running again. But I want to get a faster motor in there vs the stock TorqueTuned motor. Will see how it goes with fresh charged lipo's first. Considering longevity, I don't think I want to run anything more than a black can as the drivetrain is all plastic..

Update: I ran my 4200mAh shorty 2S. It's fast enough for bashing around the house. Kid and I had a good time driving our offroaders. I like how the TT02B handles. Easy to drive and just the right amount of rotation.

Okay got the itch for that new Pajero low rider CC01 and so I got one. Just a basic setup with SR210 receiver, basic digital Spektrum servo S6180, bearings. Will build it when my real car hobby comes to a close for the season in a couple of weeks.

Update: Everything arrived safe and sound. I also got another set of servo and receiver to put my NeoScorcher back together. Hope to start the project in October.

I drove my GF01 today on my track for the first time in like 4-5 months.

I put out jump ramps and also some bumpy terrain by placing small pieces of wood under carpet mats.

Just to be on the safe side, I ordered a bunch of Rover Mini wheels too before they are all gone. No meaning having extra Mini bodies but no wheels! Now I will have a stash of them. I feel like a hamster..
