    Hi Jason
I have a problem with my DB12RR kit.
Overall I like the car and quality of parts and until now most things went straightforward with assembling.
Now I wanted assembling the tubes and found the 4 tubes parts without threads for the 4-40 set screws. Is this usual or a production fault?
Anyway I tried getting a thread into the parts using a screw but itīs just impossible holding the plastic parts as you need too much of force and the tube parts are just slipping between the fingers. I think using pliers would damage the parts.
If I had 4-40 taps I would using them but those are difficult getting here in Germany and very expensive. For the front lower arms I ordered some 8-32 taps from the UK as recommended from someone in the forum but didnīt expected needing another 4-40 taps again.
Donīt take me wrong but I didnīt had such problems before with some other tubes. Unfortunately these have other dimensions and canīt be used with the DB12RR.
    Thanks

    Regards
    Gunther

    Hi,
I been racing the BMI12R and now the BMI12RR in modified class for about a year now. I also race a corally PHI in touring modified as a team driver. At the moment there are only two BMI drivers in South Africa and I am trying to promote BMI as I believe it is an amazing car. I wanted to know from you if I will be able to represent you as a team driver in South Africa. I do not require a free car as I already have almost 3 1/12 BMI cars and enough spares for now. So if you do accept then even with sponsorship I won't need anything right now. As I said I am more interested in promoting RC and BMI, and since we don't really have team drivers in South Africa its hard to promote. At the moment I am the only corally team driver and as far as I know there is only one Schumacher team driver.
Also as our first regional race was the past sunday I qualified 4th A mains and finished 3rd with the BMI12RR.

    Thanks,
    Johnathan Vadasz
