My Name is Michael Gonzales and I am currently working at HPI/Hotbodies. I have seen some of the chassis' break, but it has been in extreme situations. We were replacing the chassis' for some of the Ve8's during the beginning. We have had two udated chassis' that have solved many of the issues that you might have heard of on the forum. This was handled within the past year and we have not seen any of the older chassis' come through since. I have not seen any specific issues with the servo saver binding or getting stuck. The issue that many people were having was the servo saver spring being too soft. The vorza servo saver has a heavier spring and will help. I will have no problem replacing your chassis for you as long as you can get me pictures of the damage as well as pictures of a top view so I can identify the chassis.
