    I have no experience with swave esc's but if I were to guess they were not thinking their esc's would be used with nimh so you're probably right.

    Yeh, it's the nimh use with the ESC causing that. I a had the same ESC set up for nmh and same issue, switched out to lipo and the problem went away altogether.

    If your esc is a PN based one you'll need to solder a bridge like in the manual below BUT even then it was discovered the motor will cog with nimh batts...likely there's some truth to EMU's theory....

    Which motor class do you normally race in when using 48P Kyosho gears? For a much quieter & slightly faster operation with stock 48 pitch gears PN's Pro Match Pinions are the way to go....
