    I built my first RC buggy (an electric 4x4 w/ 4 wheel steering) about 20 years ago, and got a refund when the gearbox was defective. I just gor back into RC in June '11 w/ a nitro 4x4 buggy. I have gotten 3 more cars/trucks since, so I'm addicted!

    Thanks Billy, the track has a fairly tight infield w/ only one high speed sweeping corner so I'll look into getting it.

    You can try Dynamic Hobbies ... they can likely get it out to you fairly quickly. dynamichobbies.com
    The track your running on is it fairly tight? The ackerman plate is good on tighter corners ... but if the track your running on is fairly open with sweeping corners you will be fine with the stock options.
