Hi there, as it was off topic from the T-Shox thread I thought I would drop you a PM, I hope that's okay. I usually stiffen the springs when changing from tarmac to carpet to improve response and limit roll to prevent traction roll among other changes. But generally all changes are to stiffen the car is this wrong? I know it depends on driving style but softer seems to fly in the face of everything I had learned (or thought I had
).
Most carpet chassis seem to be stiffer, thicker roll bars are used and I thought stiffer springs?
How have you been getting on with the T-Shox? have you found the need for harder springs than the AME blue? Also have you drilled the pistons to 1.4mm or are they stock 1.1mm?
Sorry for all the questions
