I've never owned the shocks, just their springs.

    Good to know, cheers.

What size holes/oil are you generally running in the pistons on the T-shox as a baseline?

I've started with 3x1.4mm and 40W AE oil and the damping feels pretty light. Yet to test.

Also ordered the CSO short springs, 2.4nm, 2.5nm, 2.6nm and 2.7nm as the AME green and blue shocks are approx 2.8nm and 2.9nm so I should have a good range.

I've generally gone slightly softer, or the same, for carpet and asphalt. But I've never run on very high grip carpet.
I haven't had grip roll for about 3 years, but when I did, I found that softer springs solved it instantly.
I found that harder springs tend to heat the tyres quicker as well but can make the car more 'edgy' to drive. The harder springs also seem to cause the 'ring of death' on the inside of the tyre.

Hi there, as it was off topic from the T-Shox thread I thought I would drop you a PM, I hope that's okay. I usually stiffen the springs when changing from tarmac to carpet to improve response and limit roll to prevent traction roll among other changes. But generally all changes are to stiffen the car is this wrong? I know it depends on driving style but softer seems to fly in the face of everything I had learned (or thought I had ).

Most carpet chassis seem to be stiffer, thicker roll bars are used and I thought stiffer springs?

How have you been getting on with the T-Shox? have you found the need for harder springs than the AME blue? Also have you drilled the pistons to 1.4mm or are they stock 1.1mm?

    Sorry for all the questions
