I'm very interested to know more about your fabricated dynamometer if you don't mind me asking, as it is the topic for my Engineering Senior Project at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

I was wondering what software or data logging device you used to record your RPM and calculated torque. I was also curious as to what hardware you're using, i.e. the black box with audio input plug, and what purpose it is serving for the dyno. I'm assuming you're detecting magnetic pulses per revolution and sending them to SimpleDyno?
