So since I've been told the car is far too flexible for indoors and they've shown me their cars I'm looking at the options. I want to stick with the TA07 if possible for this season and maybe next but I don't want to spend hundreds on it to get it competitive. I also race buggies at a different club and after a year of racing have worked my way up to the chasing group, finishing on the lead lap.

So my approach with the TA07 is to use this as a platform to learn on, and then if I'm enjoying onroad still and closing the gap I will look at either shelling out for a TRF car or spending money on the upgrades if thats a better option. Bascially, I have 4 racecars and 3 are going really well and I'm comfortably mid-pack to front in a pretty short time (3 meets with the F1 and I'm sitting 3rd-4th from 8ish entries). The TA07 is the problem child, and given how my racing is going with the others I know its not entirely me!

I am running the car indoors on a indoor netball/cricket carpet surface. I've been working with a couple of experienced guys at my club and the consensus from them is the TA07 is too flexible and they've shown me their cars and the differences. The next step for me is we are going to swap cars with them for a practice so I can experience the difference between theirs and mine. The 2 guys who are helping me are really experienced racers but don't know the TA07.

My setup is all on standard parts, the only upgrade part is the alloy pulley (to replace the one that you glue together) and swaybars.
21.5T blinky class, FDR ~ 3.4
400CST shock oil all round
Stiff front springs (blue)
Medium rear (yellow)
Droop - was 4mm, now 1.5mm (I've been told I need a lot less for stock racing)
Ride height - 5.2mm front, 4.8mm rear
Swaybars - thinnest front (1.3mm) and rear (1.1mm)

Hey I'm looking at removing some of the flex in my TA07 and am wondering if the carbon reinforced k parts are enough, or do I need to go for the carbon ones and the extra braces as well? I don't want to spend another $100 - $200 on new parts as I would probably swap to something else that doesn't need all the upgrades if its going to cost too much. Its not about how much money but rather best use of it, so to me rather than spend $200 on upgrading a TA07 I would rather spend $700 on a TRF419 (thats NZD) if that makes sense.

I went with 1m (I think, would have to go to the garage to check for sure, but its at least 1m) oil in the front diff and have found it works well. From what I've read the spool really needs the DCJs which are expensive. I don't want to spend a heap on this car when I could have bought a TRF419 instead. I'm happy spending a little bit though on upgrades that make sense, like those carbon reinforced bits to give some options on stiffness.

A big problem is I'm currently running a Speed Passion MMM 21.5T and its really slow. I have a Tringity Monster Max to go in, but am trying a couple of setup changes before changing to the faster motor. I want to know that the setup is right before anything else.

Do you know the part number for the carbon C hubs? When I search it keeps throwing up aluminium ones and I'm not too keen on them. They are pretty heavy so I'm not sure they're worth the extra weight.

Thanks for that. Mine is all kit original at the moment, I keep meaning to order 54744 in carbon reinforced but am waiting for a few others as well. Its probably worth adding the suspension arms too since they aren't expensive and will help on carpet.
