Dave I was talking to Crowder today and he mentioned that 1/12th was going to spec tires. He said a green stripe and blue stripe? so is one of those for the GT12 class? We have been running purple stripe tires until Crowder came up with those blue striped tires for the BASH. They are harder than the purple stripes and according to Chris they should be faster on carpet.
So have your talked with CRC about their spec tires for GT12 or BSR? We have had no problems with what we were running until Chris came up with the blue striped tires ( there are 4 points harder than my CRC's).

Dave do you have any idea when you will have the new schedule out. If we are racing at Valkaria Labor day for the region race - when is there state race ( still the 3rd weekend)?

Hi Bill. I never had such conversation with Izzy nor did I even consider splitting anything. Not sure where that came from. This was the last event for gt17.5 and it is being replaced with the gt12. Maybe a few years down the road the 10th scale will be poular again , but for now it will just be gt12, wgtr and f1 for carpet. And for asphalt Wgtr is being replaced with usgt. F1 remains as its popularity is good and people show up.

Dave thanks for listening to me about the GT12USA class. It would be a great addition to the carpet part the series. The GT17.5 has died but might be better for the outside part of the series. But I was talking with Izzy and he said you were thinking of splitting the GT17.5 and GT12 for the carpet series . Bad idea as I will not build a GT17.5 car just to race 2 races For the pan car guys : GT12, WGT-R and F1.. For the January class you might want to add a special 12th class- either 17.5 or 13.5 because of the birds.
