    The stator will make a big difference. Try measuring across the laminations and see what the length is. The original stators were approx. 19.8mm long, the short stacks are approx. 19.3mm. I don't have a gear to tell you to put on, but I do know guys have been bumping the timing up even higher (40* on can) and dropping LOTS of pinions and going larger spurs. Let me make a few calls to find out FDR's
