Conversation Between Bkd9125 and The Slash

I recently bought a traxxas slash 2wd truck. And already wanting to go faster with a different motor and was wondering if I had to get a new speed control box also. The motor that came with it was a traxxas titan 12t with a XL-5 spped control box.
