Conversation Between badaxe83 and wizby

I was doing a little reading about the mtx-4. Seems as alot of people have spur gear problems. Thats why they try to use the kyosho and serpent gears. Read back through the mtx thread and it keeps coming up as a problem. One thing is possible the one way in the first spur could be hanging up ( bad one way or worn shaft) maybe. Some guys said the 4mm chassis was less prone to eating gears. Do you know the thickness of the chassis plate?
