Talked to the guys at the REDS tent and they said they had a lot of people having issues and that they though they had some manufacturing defects. There were supposed to announce something about them, but haven't heard anything yet. So pretty much just waiting to get a good replacement for both at this point.
Hope that helps! -
I was having some issues with both of them. got the for ebuggy and etruggy.
The calibration instructions in the manual are incorrect but through some trial and error got them setup.
Found both to be really smooth on throttle, felt I could have more power without wheel spin compared to the Tekin.
Breaks were kind of odd, but didn't get a whole lot of time to tune them. Felt kind of like mechanical breaks. Come on really smooth then strong towards the end. kind of like they didn't come on quick enough for what I was used to, but think it's just a matter of tuning and getting used to them.
So then the issues: on the buggy the switch wouldn't turn the ESC off even when swapping the switch with the truggy so was something on the board, otherwise was ok.
On the truggy the esc glitched out after landing the big jump at PNB, then would glitch after every jump after that.
