    Hi Rex,

    I'm having the following issues with my engine:

    - very difficult to prime
    - glow plug burns immediately as soon as I hit WOT
    - very erratic idle
    - idle sounds very different. Not sure what it is, but it's not what it used to me. I only put 1 gallon through the engine.

    Is it time for a rebuild? This is a HPI nitro star F3.5 engine.

    Hi Rex, Stephen Bowles is a mate of mine here in NZ and he has recommended you. I am looking for a decent engine that is on the easier side to tune. I have been looking at the FX range and have had a good run with speeds. Also i really struggle to get much time to run in so wondering if you do that as well? Cheers Ben NZ

    Hey bud I have a few GRP .21 engines that need rods I have seen u know a lot about all types of off road engines do u know of another engine that use the GRP style rod I am pretty sure it's 29.50 mm from hole to hole I found some but there overseas and not cheap thank you for any help u can provide
