The rules a bonkers. But you'll be posting pics before you know it! I'm pretty new around here too and encountered the same restrictions when I first got going on here too. Great post and sweet pics on reddit.

I'm curious to try out the RcAidong set up... one of the guys in my group loves that brand's stuff, and it was cheap enough that if only the adjustable turnbuckles work out, I won't be bothered. I really think dialing in some on the turnbuckles will make a huge difference, steering and slop wise. It did on my MST TCR-M.

I was going to order an aluminum servo horn, but the plastic one that came with my Hi-Tec brand servo seemed really beefy, so I figured I'd just run that and consider the saver if the servo breaks.

Since I can only post 5 times in 24 hours, but have to have a certain post count to post certain things (how does that make any sense? I know I know, spam). Here is my reply to the TT02 thread. I'll post it in there tomorrow when I can post again.

You can totally remove that driveshaft cradle; Its only to limit steering. I've not used it in either of my TT02s.

The two best steering kits for the money are the Tamiya TT02 S-type steering setup (not to be confused with the TT02S steering) TAM54965. Allows Ackerman angle tuning. This is what I went for on the R. The other is TAM54752. This is the full steering set with the high-torque servo saver. An issue with the servo saver is the springs ride on a plastic block that deforms quickly. This is the issue behind off center steering return. I've opted for a Powerhobby solid 25t servo horn and that issue went away.
Another servo solution is a Kimborough servo saver. They look interesting but I have not had the joy of trying one out.
