Hi, Steve! Could you please describe your measurement methodology when it came to determining the spring rate of the Kyosho springs?

    https://www.rctech.net/forum/showpos...ostcount=12385

I know that was a long time ago, but I am trying to understand how you came up with those values. I have been racking my brain, and testing 6 ways to Sunday, all of my Kyosho springs, with none of them matching your values. I don't get what I'm doing wrong. Please send me a PM when you get a chance. Thanks in advance.

Hi Steve, do you know how to extend my Tomahawk to the same length as the Turbo Scorpion ? It's like 1cm longer, right ? Are the option SCW01 rails longer than stock ? Or is the SCW022 ? I haven't compared the manuals between Scorpion/Tomahawk yet to Turbo Scorpion. Thanks in advance!

    Hey Steve,

I saw you had converted your 777 a while back and I just purchased the kit for mine. I had a quick question if you remember while doing the conversion the instructions say to flip the servo saver 180deg, and when I do this it seems like the servo saver arm that the link from the servo connects to now hits the steering rack and limits throw. Do you remember having this issue? Thanks!

    Hi there,
I wanted to ask you if you can advise me on a few things on the new scorpion ve xxl please?I am finally getting my first offroad vehicle,& my 1st brushless.I watched a Kyosho video clip with the scorpion on 6s lipo and proline rear tires.
I wanted to run my new scorpion the same as the one in the video clip. Can you advise please what i need to purchase, part numbers if possible?.Is the motor still stock, just an upgrade in ESC & 6s lipo?Do i need an ESC to suite sensored,or sensorless brushless motors?

Are there any immediate things i should do before running?.Eg,locktighning, diff shimming, upgrades, oil upgrades on shocks or diff maybe?I would like to make the scorpion as bullet proof as possible running on 6S lipo.i will be mainly bashing,grass/dirt/sand.Can you let me know what rear wheel options are available for grass/dirt and sand driving please?.Part numbers again would be helpful.

Any advise on what i have asked would be much appreciated.

    Regards,Peter

    Steve,

I'm the President of WCICS (Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series), and we generally follow the excellent ruleset and approvals list that you guys work so hard to provide. WCICS is non-profit, volunteer run, like ROAR. With 8 races and +1200 entries, it's the largest indoor series in Canada (possibly the world). We are following your ruling on the motor.

As only someone who has been in the same position can truly relate to, when you're simply a volunteer donating your time/money for the betterment of a hobby you love, the ludicrous remarks, assumptions, and accusations being hurled at you both hurt and anger, and make you wonder why you stepped up to help out.

I'm sure you have tons of messages to get through. Just wanted to give you support, and understanding.

    President
