I have a similar issue when fitting rear diff to the chassis. The raised part of the diff housing won't fit in chassis recess, but for me the diff housing is too far back. I had to trim the angled part of the diff housing to make it fit the recess. I do not know what I'm doing wrong. I'm just curious about how you fixed your problem?
