    Niznai,

I need help, I have a Tamiya TA02 with the carbon fiber chassis, I haven't used it in years and decided to pull it out to try drifting, problem being is it didn't have a pinion gear, so I went to a local shop grabbed a few pinion gears and tried to get em to mesh properly and it didn't work out properly. I checked on here and seen the conversion you gave to another person, used that and yet they still didn't mesh properly. I was talking to someone in another hobby shop and the person said it was the pitch, they had said that regular pitch is 48, but Tamiya uses an off pitch they said they use a 48 &1/2 pitch. Is this possible? I need help! I can tell you that it does have 66tooth spur gear!
    Thanks Jim

    Hello niznai,
I have done a few conversions, modifications in rc and I enjoy the challenges it presents. I am a journeyman machinist and I do Rc stuff for fun, I am not interested in ripping off any of your ideas. I have a lathe, mill and a small 4 axis cnc in my garage. I am set up for mostly 1 off prototype work. I did some work here for Bob-Stormer the thread is here (stormer serpent 120 conversion). I am in Canada, where are you located?
