Yes, I do live in New Bern. About the flooding......lots of folks here were hit pretty hard, but thankfully the neighborhood where I live is situated far enough from the rivers and creeks, so we mostly escaped damages. Just a few downed trees and not much else. No damage at all to my home.....so we were very fortunate.

About the racing......I used to go to Durham where there is an indoor carpet track. But they have converted to indoor off-road exclusively.....not my cup of tea. So now the closestcarpet track to me is Soda City way down in Columbia SC. It’s about 4.5 hrs away, so I only make that too long trip maybe evert 4 or even 6 weeks. Kinda bummed to no longer have a “local” track to frequent and enjoy

I see you're from New Bern, NC. I've got a friend that goes to New Bern every year when his daughter goes to camp there and they love it there. How did you make out with the flooding last year? Also are there any RC places near there?
