Sorry to hear of all the issues at the Altoona track. I can't even imagine how you felt when approached with the news. My son and I were really looking forward to coming up to run with you guys this spring. I hope something else pops up to keep the hobby goin' in your area.
On another page, I found out that the Pittsburgh Raceway Park Track is now under new management. I stopped in at "Show Me Your Hobbies" in Greensburg yesterday and the owner(Adam) informed me that he was now going to be running the tracks. I think this is going to be a move in the right direction in that he has been involved with the hobby for many years and he will have his shop services available at the track. The owner of the PRP facility seems to be very excited about the outlook to the future of RC on his property. I will keep you posted on any further news.
