Hi Darren, re your problem with esc, it sounds as though you have not set the voltage cut off properly -- the 1s box needs to be ticked and the custom voltage cut off set.

Re the voltage boosters you were asking about I have been using them for the past 18 mnths and they are good ( soldering is a bit suspect as if you waggle wire too much the joint of the wire onto the booster board will break).
