    Im partial to the RC8T but have you looked at the D8T? Good way to get started without totaly breaking the bank, but remember these thing are $$$$ eaters!!!!

    Hey Byron, tough question but I will try to give a good answer. I think the RTR is fine to start out if you don't plan on getting too serious fast. Realistally to bring it to the same level as the CE you would need the factory team A,B,C, and D suspension plates, the aluminum CE shock towers and Big Bore shocks, forward battery box and a few other smaller items. Not sure about the RTR chassis plate as it may be different. Some use the CE steering mod but others use the original steering, I switch back and forth. Personally I prefer the kit as you assemble it, get all the current parts and supply your own engine, pipe and servos which gets you in pretty deep money wise. You really need to ask yourself how far you want to go. As far as the Losi I think there RTR is a great deal, you get a lot of equipment with their RTR. No mater what you get some on the forums will hate it and blast your choice but in the end its your choice. Feel free to ask any questions and I will help if I can.
