maxamp 3s on 1/8th scale?
im building a lightweight setup 1/8 buggy for indoor tight clay racing and want to use 3s instead of 4s. after slightly following the whole 3s 4x4 slash fire thread im a little hesistant, but thought id ask anyway.
hyper 9e tekin 2650 combo would like to get roughly 15-20 mins. will i run into battery related problems w/ this setup? if not what would you recommend? i just assumed a 3s 5250 would be good enough thanks! |

Actually a 2650 on 3S is pretty close to perfect. Higher KV motors perform better on lower voltage. My 2650 in My buggy is pretty wild on 4S but on 3S I can rattle off more constant lap times and stay in control a lot better. Whether your hard on a pack or not depends all on the gearing you choose. Don't try a lower KV motor on 3S they simply just are not meant to run on less than 4S.
