Pare, pakisabi kay Mang Bert na absent ulit ako this week-end. I finally got to fix the Frontier; but, i have a family meeting to attend to and a forthcoming exhibit to make preparations for.

Kasama rin ako sa 'Low Profile Group' ng Niog. I used to fly at ASEANA for a while until they became 'too exclusive' for my tastes...

I became a 'barnstormer'.. flying my DHC-2 all alone at the Fort and a wide variety of venues...including Amoranto and Luneta.. even before anyone new of these venues

I even tried out an EP Spitfire... but, failed miserably.

RajS was the one who gave me directions to Niog; and, I'm happy with the group... Their skills in flying are far better than what I have seen.. and, though I'm still a novice in gas...I feel that one of these days with the appropriate stick time.. I'd be close enough to their level.

I already had my .90 powered F4U Corsair plans printed out at 1:1 scale... on a plotter...I hope to build this myself as my 3rd plane...I'll probably ask for help from the guys in the field..

There is something I'd like to share from my RC car days though...

"Running electric is like watching a trailer of a XXX movie with the sound on mute...Running nitro or gas is watching the entire movie with the sound and smells of the real thing.":)

oist, meron na pala thread for gas fliers. i myself is more of gas, i dont have anything against electric, in fact i have some also, kaya lang magastos din minsan. about the flyers in niog, one of th guys there is ed montanez, he used to place in the fai ( masters ) category in pattern before, in fact, i still get pointers from that guy, like you guys say, low profile but a darn good person.medyo bihira na yan ngayon.
