hey dude... i've already tried to lobby for an exclusive mini-z thread... moderators just combined mini-z and micro's together in the mini/micro rc thread... :rolleyes:

join ka nalang dun... besides... sadly the mini-z's have a small (pun intended) following...

so as the micro's... maliit din ang following... kaya that's why i guess they bundled them together...

as for vendors... don't think will get too much of a response in this area...
not too much hobby shops carry mini-z's... the only one i can think of is lil's but they have very limited stocks and spares / hop ups...

tapos there's a hobby shop / track directory thread... so parang double posting...

don't get me wrong... i'm a mini-z addict... probably just like you...

Actung and Wildflyer, may I volunteer the info.. since I am an "oldtimer". The U.S. is not a scale plane at all but a test bed sketched by the famous Phil Kraft (pioneer in propo radio and owner-founder of the American Kraft brand) based on the real German antique plane, the Eindecker. I started flying in the company of Obi Mapua in 77 and almost all of us had an Ugly Stik. It was popular and can do fantastic touch and go's then. Phil created it in 1967, ten years earlier. Large wing, oversize ailerons, flared stabs and elevs, rally a precursor of today's 3D's. There is something about the wing, fat and large. Open front makes for ez engine adjusts . Tail drag makes it ez to put up a main gear. A sikd will do as the tail lifts quickly and the huge rudder takes over. The Ugly Stik is, ironically, a Beautiful Stik. It is immortal. I built one recently using yellow corroplast for wings. Unfortunately, it was dstroyed. If anyone still kept an oiriginal plans from the many companies who made it......pahiram. We can cut many foam wings for this beauty or make whole planes. We do have plans frpm the web,pero kung may "branded" plans, mas ma beauty!
