Default I need your suggestions guys.

Hey guys...ask ko lng suggestions nyo...and2 ako ngaun sa ibang bansa and im into onroad racing as well. But uuwi nku ng pinas probably around july this year at gusto ko padin icontinue ung onroad racing pag anjan nku sa pinas....right now im running 2 electric classes
*touring stock 17.5 (AE tc6)
*mini class (m05) with orca combo 2200kv motor and esc.
So my question is..
*1- hndi ba ako mahihirapan maghanap ng parts for my ae?..kasi npansin ko prang most of you guys ang ginagamit ay tamiya and xray etc. or should i switch to trf cars?..
*2- the orca combo on my mini is manufactured only for canada use...sir noel aldaba told me that you guys are using 18t tamiya motor...can i use any 18t motor?..or just tamiya?...and what esc do you guys suggest for the m05?
*3- m05 tires..are you guys using s-grips tires with hard foam inserts too?..or m grips?..
...gusto ko lng maging prepared pra ung mga hndi ko pwede gamitin jan e pwede ko na maibenta d2 before i leave...salamat po sa mga sasagot!!..more power!!.

Greetings.
1. Most of the racers use TRF cars.
2. As for the mini classes, most of us use Tamiya tblm01 18t motor with a tble01 esc. Its a unsensored combo. I have seen others use a Tamiya Lightly Tuned motor with any esc that can run brushed motors.
3. As for tires, we use M grips with hard inserts.

Hope this helps.

1. PitShop at Araneta Ave carries AE (and Xray)... not sure how well they're stocked with onroad parts, though. safest bet is to go with TRF (biased opinion) but Team-C, HB, and Spec-R are also locally available.

2. For mini we run the sensorless Tamiya combo (TBLE01 and 18T TBLM01). So far, the only other alternative is to run a blinky esc and a 17.5 motor but those races are far and few in between.

3. usual tire set up is m-grip in front and s-grip at the rear. yes, we normally use the hard inserts.

VooDooPH,

How does 17.5 bl motor with open esc fair against the sensorless Tamiya combo of ours?

Many thanks.
