The guys at the store tested the Enzo for me and it looked like it can handle itself very well. Hindi nga lang digital proportional ang steering.

Thanks for your inputs!
imho the RCs sold at Toy Kingdom are considered as toys... not really a hobby-grade RC... no upgrades, no hopups, no replacement parts in case you break something. if you're just after some backyard bashing then i guess those would suit your needs.

just a few things to consider though... some RTR units that are fully upgradable to hobby-spec cost almost as much as the toys. these are usually available at the hobby shops (i.e. Pitshop, Action Hobbies, Extreme, Lils). i.e. would be the 1:18 RTR buggies and trucks from Team Associated and Duratrax. If you're buying one to get a shoe into the door of the hobby, suggest you go for the real deal -- kahit 2nd hand lang. then upgrade as you go along.

pitshop: thats surprising news. of course i would vote to keep it. its been a while since we ran there. but i guess the other question that comes to mind is if there will be another home track for pitshop or will that just mean JP is our defualt track? not that i mind of course but is JP also a long term track coz ive heard that in maybe a year or so the property might be sold as well which would leave us displaced.

marvi: di ko na sasagutin ...alam ko na ngayon na binasa mo yung post ko eh... hahahaha

Thanks VooDoo! Yup, they certainly are toys and not close to real RC stuff. However, I'm after the model of the RC and not just any RC they sell there (they have a lot of RCs that are cheaper and promise speed, racing ability yak yak yak). That's why I'm particular about which model to buy, and the Ferrari just caught my eye.

I visited Lil's Park Square last week and while the RCs there were quite impressive, it wasn't enough to attract me into the real RC hobby. I guess I'm more into collecting models of cars that can actually run, than go into building one that I can also run myself.

Lastly, real RCs can cost a lot of money. And I'm married. 'nuf said.

Niko: try dropping by JP raceway as well. impressive facility and youll get to see r/c cars run modified too. just to give you an idea of how fast these little buggers can go .... not trying to convince to get into the hobby, if anything, its fun to watch the cars zip down the straight.

quite a few guys here are actuall married or are getting there, too.

you'd be surprised how relatively cheap it could be to put together an rc for display and backyard bashing. you just have to look hard.
