If your budget allows it, For Tamiya get the TA04 TRF chassis or the new TB Evo IV chassis. For the Team Xray, the T2 is their best. The quality of Team Xray's kits are always good. For Team Associated, get the the TC4 chassis. This kits have alot of parts, same with Team Losi. For the Team Losi, get the XXX-S Graphite Plus. Getting these racing type chassis will save you some money because they come upgraded already... but at the end, it's your preferrence and budget that counts.

Li'l PS1 still has TA-04 parts. Lots of them there. I purchased some parts there for my son's TA-04.

Legimlugero,

I vouch for migvea's TA-04. It's a good buy and very cheap. Graphite chassis on both decks. You can also check 2nd hand TA-05 kits from Mark Flores and migvea at the RC For Sale Thread.

Setup help

Hi guys I need help with setting up my ta04. It always seems to be in oversteering mode - when I turn it just a little bit the back always seems to want to swap places with the front end.

Current setup:
1. 23t tamiya ss rz
2. tires - sorex front, tamiya rears (used to be sorex on all 4 corners but I totally wrecked 2 of them, then 2 of the 4 tamiya tires may crack na yung para dun sa hex hub)
3. dampers - tamiya aluminum with yellow springs on the front, red springs rear
4. Sway bars - Blue hard front, medium yellow rear. I tried running without the rear sway bar but it only got worse.
5. body - Eclipse (ata ) just installed a rear wing taken from my super bashed mazda 6 body.
6. Stock futuba servo/viper esc
7. Ta04 pro version but with tub graphite lower deck, front one way differential, center one way pulley

Yung wing bagong mount lang and I haven't tried it out yet. Been running this at the PS1 track. Medyo madugo nga dahil dun sa mga steel plates that they use to secure the pvc barriers. Sana matulungan nyo ako.

Hi thanks for the reply. Previously it was all 4 sorex before i ruined 2 of them last Saturday. I haven't run it yet in the current sorex front / tamiya rear configuration. Mga next month pa kasi ako makakabili ng new tires.

I think one reason kaya ganun takbo ng kit mo kasi mas makapit ang front kesa rear. pag all sorex na let me know wat happen. Hope it helps... Tnx
