Robo: Hope to be able to run with you guys next time. I was there last Saturday afternoon running my TC3 and TA04. The TC3's epoxied rear shock tower did not last more than six minutes. Bumigay din ulit. I really have to get replacement parts soon. BTW, have you tried out Pitshop's rebuildable 23turn stock motors? OK ba yun? Yun kasi 23Turn Atlas ko ok pa rin kaya lang di rebuildable.

marvi: Kelan ulit kayo lalaro sa PS1?

Maddafunker: I missed out on the Speedzone night race last week. I found out too late kasi. Sayang.

Arrow ta04-trf owners

mga sir tanong lang...

wana ask sana kung anong sukat ng preload (front and rear) sa dampers niyo according to the manual? short springs ang gamit ng ta04-trf diba?

and kung ano din ung sukat nung downstop screws (front and rear) according sa manual din?

reason: i wana try lang sana ung "box-stock" setup when using ung ssg shock towers and chassis.

also, how do i know what springs to use? i mean kung saan ung softer, sa harap o likod?

thanks.

Baluga: yep, thats the one.

suggestion lang, regarding the parts u want to purchase, yung delrin outdrives, napakatibay nyan. i hid the pipe dati sa kapitol and nachip ung delrin outdrive, pero hindi kinailangang palitan, very tough ung material nyan e. so i suggest you hold back on that, sayang lang, naka stock lang sa pitbox mo.

ung lightweight drive shaft, hindi ba kit standard yan? i think kasama na sa 414 yan.

yung rpm ballcups "i think" are too small for the tamiya ballcups, pero ok sana yan.

Kok_Kok: yup i agree with lem, grabe yang lrp micro charger na yan. ok sya for both nimh and nicd packs. the only draw back is may trickle charge sya, so you have to watch your nimh packs, baka maovercharge kasi.

also, dont cut the wires ha, may purpose yan kung bakit super haba ng wires, i almost cut those wires dati, buti na lang di ko naituloy.

lem: yup, the tc3 was more planted. but note that ive set up that car quite a bit and it is really quite balanced. the cgm as montioned is very smooth and is so easy to drive. too easy in fact that i'd like to dial in more agrressiveness into it. back end does not seem as planted as my tc3 but i think i can fix that. in fact baka nga nasa body lang. i used the mazda 6 on the cgm and a losi alpha in the tc3. i would have wanted to try the alfa on the cgm pero as mentioned, my run was cut short with a busted steering knuckle. cant wait to run this cgm in capitol and really work on its set-up. the car is defenitely very promising. i'll be bringing both cars to cebu.

LEM2 and ROBO - Don't know if this will help but, I've set up my CGM as close as possible to what I used for the TC3 before. . . blue and silver springs, roughly the same turnbuckle locations, etc at happy naman ako. Maybe you guys can also try out setting up your CGMs this way and do fine tuning from there na.

CAPITOL SPEEDWAY V2.0

Hanep you CAPITOL tracks sa kines. It even looked like it didn't have any bumps at all . . . . to the point na pdeng pde ang 1/12!

My son really had a grand time running his TB01, specially with sand scattered in some of the sections. Drifting ala N4S Underground daw all the way to the open sewer on the side.

Eto pa ang maganda sa tracks. Expect spectacular air time when you hit the barriers and islands. Hindi pa kasi tapos eh. So sisiw ang reverse summersault with clockwise twist landing on all four wheels, as shown to us by PITSHOP BOSS using my CGM. . . . . . nothing broken after that!!!

Sana matapos na talaga within the week at matanggal na yung sand. In the areas kasi na alang sand, the traction was even better than that of Montalban!!!

BLP: i already know what i want to do with the CGM. one is to lower the ride height to 5mm para mas responsive steering and to make the car run flatter....nasa 6mm kasi kahapon since that was the suggested ride height for the cebu track. the other is to simply use a thinner sway bar in front and move the front ams back a notch. if that puts in too much steering, i'll just go down on spring tenssion in the rear to gain back some rear bite. so nothing major but should do a lot to get what i want out of the car. the car does turn in well but just not as good as my tc3 yet! i really made the tc3 a "steering monster" . im sure i wont have trouble doing the same with the cgm. all i need is a track to test on.

racenut: ikaw ba yung naka-mini cooper na yellow (or orange ba yun?)

No comment on the "best" bit,

Try capitol speedway at the Pasig Capitol... It's presently being re-surfaced.

You can also try the track at The Fort in Fort Bonifacio and if you want a large track, there is one in Montalban.

The PS1 track is also open

if you are racing off road there's the qc circle off road track and the covered JP RACEWAY off road track at ortigas ave and if you are racing on road there is also one in pinagbuhatan, pasig plus the tracks that has been mentioned by Rough512

so, since sira na yung knuckle, labas na ulit si tc3. i have to say, despite tis age, tindi talaga nung auto na 'to. aggressive pero planted - parang naka riles. so i ran three more packs with the tc3 and had a blast. i think i'll be keeping this ride so i can join dual classes at races.
hmmm... parang gusto ko ilabas from retirement tuloy yung tc3 ko i have a cgm that i'm gonna start building pa lang and i thought it is a suitable car to replace the tc3. i agree with you that the tc3 is definitely planted. do you think it can be set up to behave like the tc3?
