JoelT: We had a good run last night, sana nakadaan ka. Ok na ok ang grip ng track. It's good with out the aid of traction coumpound but it would be more excellent you use some of it every heat. The tires that I used where from 2 races ago at capitol, Sorex36R. After the race was finished, I ran for I pack using a Mod motor. I had very good grip considering my tires where old and I didn't use traction compound when I ran Mod. I hope you can make it next Thursday.
One more thing that I noticed last night was how my Ride Accord body handled. As we all know, the Accord body was designed to give you more steering on tight layouts but when running this body in Capitol, it would tend to be a little bit pushy. I ran it in 19T and Mod last night and I was surprised how it was very dialed, tons of steering but still planted. Hardly became pushy except when making mistakes on throttle input. I also tried the Stratus 3.0 AP, and I also got the same results. I think these bodies perform better in slightly larger and faster lay-outs. I guess when they designed these bodies, most especially the Ride Accord, it was rather on a lager more flowing track similar to JP's.
The body that I find the most spot on interms of balance when running in Capitol is the Much More Stratus. I hope Pitshop has more of these. It came unnoticed when it was there due to other available proven bodies but this one is pretty much dialed for Capitol. I still have to try the Ride Stratus Mark I and II to find out any similarities. I find the Mark III for Capitol to be too pushy on-power regardless of setup changes. i wasn't able to run it in JP's but maybe next thursday.
So to sum up my report:
1. JP raceway has excellent grip not only for foam tires but for rubber as well.
2. The car is very clean almost dust free after each run.
3. Sorex 36R are great on JP Raceway, I think we can go lower to 28R for night racing.
4. The surface is forgiving on tires.
5. Watch out for the barriers/pipes, they will spank your car really good. Broke two arms last night, 1 on my JRXS and the other on the RDX.
6. Ride Accord and Protoform Stratus 3.0 perfect for the flowing layout.
7. No need for traction compound but using on will be a big plus for extra grip.
8. and last but not the least, a very big Thanks to our friend Mr. JP Reyes for sharing his excellent track for all of us RC Nuts.

racing last night at JP's track was fantastic! traction is supurb after they hosed dwon the track a few weeks ago .... thats all it needed. and the new track layout for EP was great for dicing. ang ganda ng rythm and flow ng mga corner sequences!
cant wait to run mod there!
rbboy/xtreme: kelan na inaugural race natin dun? plano nyo na!
Kung next weekend, sana on a sunday .. di ako pwede sabado next week e ... have a wedding to attend.
moto: pucha, hanggang ngayon natatawa pa rin ako sa "laki sa layaw" rendition mo! ..... hahahaha
kulit ko kagabi pare ... next week ulit!
.... for those who missed out, you gotta join the races there at JP.

... and i must say, my fttc4 has a new lease on life! it was great for spec racing last night at JPs!
i had very poor starts in not one, not two, but al three mains last night due to colissons in the first corner but nonetheless, i was always able to work my way up to the front the pack and finish 2nd. not enough to catch mr hwayman but maybe things would have been ore interesting if i had better starts and more power ..... maybe ....
fbj: your car was unbelieveably fast! iba siya! what are you doing to that motor! its a good thing my tc4 handled really well in the infield but in the back straight you would eat me up alive!

SAYANG!!!
Hindi talaga ako pwede pag weekdays 'coz of work the following day.
I guess I'll have to wait na lang until a race there is scheduled over the weekend.
FBJ - Thanks for the tip meyn. Tamang-tama 'coz I was able to get this Corally traction compound na odorless!!!
For my first time, BD muna ako para tipid sa arms kapag nanggigil . . . . . Mas mura kasi ang hinge pin eh tapos maraming stock ulit si PITSHOP BOSS!!!
