say hi for me when you see him again. or does he log on? Siya ata yung nag iisang pinoy na na feature sa isang RC mag before, the topic was about R/C drag racing.

Kilala din ni mang yan, kasabay nya sa nitro sa boyel before. lol... GP10 pa gamit nila noon, with the wide "euro" style bodies...eheheh, electric din naman noon, wide. sigh....

depends... dependot ,este, depends sa esc. some esc's pwedeng i-repair pag na-dead set as you put it... but some like the newer ones na naka maliit na fet like yung quantum medyo hopeless case na yun...

he doesnt go online unfortunately. but i got his cel number. im getting in touch with him kasi marami sa Nueva Ecija naghahanap ng mga RC stuff... sayang nga e, if i had brought my RC's for sale, garantisado sana sold dun. daming nagtatanong sa mga gear namin, loaded pa mga pitaka nila...

kinuwento nga ni mike yung feature nya sa RC Model Cars... kaso his only copy of that mag nasa states with his parents... he still has his Drag RC ride. it was a Bolink Pro Stock Car...

JUDD - To add to what LEM2 has said, switching shock towers is actually one of the more common mods done to both TC3s and SDs (Black Special and SSG). Being so, what Rayspeed and Yokomo (for their SD CGM) eventually did was to make their front shock towers look pretty the rears straight from the box.

Am a bit concerned though with what you plan to do, unless you're really after looks only. Using a Tamiya body (with the original mounts) may not be the way to go if you plan to compete. Protoform bodies (Stratus v1/v2, Alfa v2, Mazda 6) may be the better choice, although they aren't as scale looking as Tamiyas.

Also, I've heard that the price of a Tamiya body has increased, so medyo sayang if you intend to use these for racing. You won't be able to compete in TAC races din naman since your chassis is a TC3.

. . . . Opinion lang nga ito sir.
