tatalope: plus to add to what fbj said, if you just store your packs right after a run, you have no assurance that each individual cell has the same amount of charge in them. its even possible that one cell is fully drained while the rest have some charge in them. my charge and storage process is almost identical to what fbj does, with a few little differences pero either way....

"Ang ganda pa rin ng batts mo! Gandang Ricky Reyes talaga!"

tatalope: after a run, i put the batts in an equalizing tray with a cut off of 0.9v per cell then store them that way for a week. if i run the following weekend, i put them back in the tray and this time discharge them to 0.1v .... I make sure that right after i drain the packs to 0.1v per cell (conditioning mode), i charge them immediately after taking them ouot of the tray. as mentioned i do this if i run the packs the following weekend. when you do, you'll notice that the packs still have quite some charge in them coz it will take a while before the pack drops down to .1v per cell.

but, if for some reason i am unable to run the following weekend, what i do is a take the batts from storage the following week, again put them in the tray, eualize with a cut off of 0.1v per cell, then put in 300 secs of charge at a 6amps, 3mv per cell cut-off. then i can store them for another 2 weeks. if after two weeks i still don't get to run, i just repeat the process.

as for charging:
- IB 3800/3600 cells: 6amps, 3-4mv per cell cut off (depending on how hot the weather is). my settings are such for the the IB cells because they seem to have more capacity but less punch than the gp cells.
- gp 3700 cells: since the gp cells naman have comapratively less runtime and more punch than the IB cells, i adjust the charge settings accordingly >> 5amps, 2mv per cell cut off.

works for me. my packs are pretty consistent naman week on week in terms of runtime, power and resistance.

.... try at your own risk! hehehe

Pirty: i have the following 2nd hand batts if you are interested:

3 packs GP 3300 LRP matched packs (1.17v).
3 packs GP 3300 Promatch matched packs (1.16v).

Note that these have not been charged or run for a couple of months so i can't guarantee their pefromance. i'll sell them for P500 @ if you want them. they come in side x side config already.

Thanks JoelT RObo and FBJ,
Will take down notes and work on taking more care into the maintenance of the batts. All the tips are very much appreciated, Thanks Guys!
Now time to save up for an equalizing tray
