yup its a 1/10 on road car. by the way, m still using the kit included plastic oil filled shocks. will it make any difference if i put in aluminum dampers? i already bought #40 hpi tires. tho i have a pair of #36 too. i just dont know what the number is for and where in the front or rear to put it.

joelt: wait a minute ... kantutinsapwet! you have a point there. i think it was the mere prescence of that guy that caused the CA in my tires to just melt away. grabe! lakas ng dating nung tao na yun! mod tayo ulit next sat ha!

lmagnum: kaw rin pare ha! mod ka ulit! paractis lang yan.

lem: hope you can join us again this weekend. hopefully kupz will be available as well.

kid skid: suggest you do not mix and match tire compounds coz doing so will result in one end of your car having tires that will heat up faster. this will result in a car who's handling will change through the course of a run. the numbers 36 and 40 in your tires refer to the rubber compound used. the higher the number, the higher tollerance it has for heat. usually here in manila, we go with 40s for out-door racing. suggest you start with those as well.

on set-up, you can try a few things. for starters, easiest would be trying a softer spring in the rear end. as for sway bars, use a stiffer one in front vs. the rear. if that is not enough, get rid of the rear sway bar and keep the one in front. this well help the rear end roll more through the corner and help plant the rear a bit more.

note these are very general set-up suggestions given the info you provided. if you can tell us if the oversteer happens on or off power, or if its at entry, mid or exiting of corners, that would also help us give better suggestions. but for now you may want to try the things mentioned. hope this helps.

big thanks rob... oversteer happens right on the apex of the turn in off power too. i was guessing at first that i must have been m going to fast but even approaching it not that fast the rear tends to skid. its difficult to correct it when that happens. m using a yellow colord spring on both rear and front (from the kit). i have medium sway bars up front and soft on the rear. il just get rid of the rear then and maintain the front bars. probbly replace it with the hard one. il follow ur instructions and keep u posted on the results. thanks again.

I can't make it sa Speedzone this Sat because I have to be in my Tita's B-day dinner at 7pm. So practice nalang muna ako hanggang 6pm then deretso na sa Shangri-la Hotel.
